Marisol Vazquez, RDN

Marisol Vazquez is a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist and owner of Back To Basics Nutrition Counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition with a minor in business management and completed her dietetic internship through the College of Saint Elizabeth. Prior to becoming a private nutritionist in Montclair, her dietetic career began in the regulatory department for both Kraft Foods and Unilever. Marisol began following her passion  doing nutrition counseling and opened her private practice as a Montclair nutritionist in June of 2010. In November of that same year Marisol completed the certificate of training in adult weight management through the commission on dietetic registration.

The field of dietetics is a second career for Marisol. Prior to receiving her degree in Food and Nutrition, she worked for 12 years in finance as an administrative assistant. This role helped develop her strong listening skills and focus to detail.  These abilities are just part of what makes her such a special Montclair NJ nutritionist. In her spare time, Marisol enjoys running, cooking and spending quality time with her family and friends. Marisol speaks both English and Spanish.

We still see each other on a regular basis but what is most valuable to me is the fact that when I reach my goal weight, Marisol will be in my corner helping me maintain it.
